CAB Methodology
Latin American Stock Market Cup
CAB’s analysis is built around the returns of national
stock indices computed by Standard and Poor's - Dow Jones. These indices are
measured in local currency, adjusted for inflation and expressed in logarithmic
terms. The use of this variable is explained by the need to capture the
goodness of the environment from the perspective of a resident of the country
under analysis, who measures his wealth
by the amount of goods he can purchase on the local market.
