Mission
The Torcuato Di Tella University School of Law is an internationally-recognized center for teaching and research in law and related disciplines. Its mission is to educate the best lawyers in the country, as well as contribute with research and teaching to thinking and designing legal and social institutions in an atmosphere of pluralism, open discussion of ideas and academic excellence.
The School has full-time faculty in the areas of Legal and Political Philosophy, Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Tax Law, Law and Economics, International Law, and Intellectual Property Law. These researchers publish their work in top international peer-reviewed journals and publishers, such as Cambridge University Press y Oxford University Press, and journals like British Tax Review, Chicago-Kent Law Review, Fordham Journal of Banking and Financial Law, Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, Law & Philosophy, Modern Law Review, New Criminal Law Review, New York University Journal of Law and Business, Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Social Theory and Practice, Utilitas, among others. Our Faculty has received prestigious international academic awards, including fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, as well as the European Commission Marie Curie Fellowship.
