El profesor Roberto Gargarella recibió la prestigiosa beca “Leverhulme Trust Visiting Professorship” otorgada por la UCL Institute of the Americas (Reino Unido). La misma comenzará en enero del 2014, y comprende una serie de actividades durante 6 meses que incluyen dictado de clases, seminarios, workshops e intercambios con otras universidades del Reino Unido.
 
Dr Par Engstrom (Lecturer in Human Rights of the Americas at UCL Institute of the Americas), coordinador de la visita académica de Roberto, comentó al respecto “Professor Gargarella’s distinguished and unique scholarly expertise and innovative methodological approach to the study and teaching of comparative constitutionalism, theory of deliberative democracy, and human rights in the Americas is simply unrivalled. We are delighted to have been offered this generous award by the Leverhulme Trust and to have the opportunity to benefit from the exciting programme of activities during Professor Gargarella’s stay.”
