Health Insurance

For course enrollment, Universidad Torcuato Di Tella requires that all of its incoming students submit proof of having a valid health insurance in Argentina.

The health insurance must be obtained prior to arrival in the country and must be active from the first to the last day of the study period at UTDT.

The deadline for submitting proof of medical coverage that meets the requirements detailed below will be Monday, January 15, 2024. To upload this file, please follow the steps in the instructions available at the bottom of this page.

Coverage must include all of the following services:

  • Medical diagnosis and treatment;

  • Preventive medicine;

  • Hospitalization and surgery;

  • Mental health treatment (i.e. sessions with therapists, medication) and hospitalization;

  • First aid and transportation to a hospital or clinic;

  • Treatment of chronic diseases;

  • Paramedic services;

  • Medical evacuation; and,

  • Repatriation of mortal remains.

The University suggests that students obtain the services provided by William Hope because this company provides a comprehensive student plan that does not have any deductibles or copayments. It also includes services such as dental care, discounts on medicines, orthopedic devices, and visual aids. This plan also includes travel assistance to bordering countries. The monthly cost is USD 85.
